Thoughtful Hands is a non-profit I founded in 2016. The mission of the organization is to promote artists and independent designers that work with sustainable materials and eco-friendly processes. Exhibits will be regularly housed in my still-in-progress vintage Airstream trailer. In addition to curating exhibits, I will conduct community outreach by taking the mobile gallery to festivals, schools, and public events allowing a wide audience to view the work and experience material demonstrations. Inauguration is scheduled for Earth Day events in April 2017.
I consider the gallery, the non-profit formation and legal process, as well as the community engagement, an important part of my research and creative practice.
