Sweet Survivors is an environmental artwork celebrating the tenacity of dye plants. The installation is a collaboration between Ooley and the fiber students at the University of North Texas. The students used natural dyes derived from the plants to color wood which was then placed around a specimen from each associated species. Stone and wood "bib necklaces" were awarded to individual plants that had survived the Texas summer.
